Zoning

Lazy day.
Internet addiction.
It's my escape,
From the world we live in.
Hours and hours wasted.
Zoning out and in.
Is there something that I'm running from,
within?
This is truly doing me in.
My eyes drink up elektronik wavez.
My soul feels like a microwave,
Set on defrost.
But things aren't warming up,
As I'm zoning out and in.
Though I'm not an alcoholic,
This is my gin.

If I Could Save Time in a Bottle

If I could save time in a bottle,
I'd probably spend it on the internet,
Checking out half naked women,
And then spending the day in regret.

If I could save time in a bottle,
I'd probably just play video games.
Then the last half of my day would be spent,
Wondering where all my precious time went.

If I could save time in a bottle...
Forget it. I'd rather not.
I'd be much wiser, to just make do,
With the plenty I've already got.

Note: I wrote this in college, when I was supposed to be doing homework ;)
